1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Employ.IM, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Accounts & Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• Business owners are responsible for managing their employees and permissions.
• Business admins may manage business settings and protected tools where permitted by the owner.
• Business managers are separate from admins and are responsible for assigned team or department workflows.
• You must not share login credentials with unauthorized users.
• Employees may be required to provide selfie verification from mobile devices for login and clock-in workflows only when their business is on an eligible Professional or Enterprise plan. Desktop users do not take selfies.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes:

• Attempting unauthorized access to data or systems
• Using the platform for illegal or fraudulent activities
• Disrupting or interfering with system performance
• Uploading malicious code or harmful content
• Attempting to bypass geofence, passkey, role, or subscription restrictions
• Submitting false, misleading, or manipulated selfie verification evidence

4. Plans & Payments

• Employ.IM may offer free and paid plans.
• The free Starter plan includes limited attendance basics for eligible small teams.
• Paid plans unlock additional features such as scheduling, exports, leave, live status, imports, payroll tools, Selfie Evidence, and advanced controls.
• Selfie verification and Selfie Evidence review are available only on paid Professional and Enterprise plans and are not available on Starter or free trials.
• All payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time.

5. Data Ownership

Businesses retain ownership of their data (employees, logs, schedules). Employ.IM only processes and stores this data to provide the service.

Attendance evidence may include geofence data, passkey authentication metadata, and selfie images collected during supported verification workflows on mobile devices. Business owners are responsible for using this evidence in line with applicable workplace policies and laws.

6. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may cause temporary downtime.

7. Limitation of Liability

Employ.IM is provided "as is". We are not liable for:

• Loss of data or business interruptions
• Incorrect usage of the platform
• Decisions made based on platform data

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or pose a security risk.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform means you accept any updates.
